- In order to be an AV drive ( which is 90% marketing hype, 10%
- technology) you need to be able to sustain data at a minimum guaranteed
- rate. Hard drives have had to band-aid themselves together in order to
- achieve this capability... the biggest one is non-thermal-recal
- garbage. Removable media has never needed to thermally recalibrate
- because they use an embedded servo... thus, the drive does not step out
- to lunch to perform these internal housekeeping tasks.

- I think you might be surprised to find out that the Drive will be able
- to sustain AV standards even without claiming AV special band-aid
- capabilities....
