  8. In order to be an AV drive ( which is 90% marketing hype, 10%
  9. technology) you need to be able to sustain data at a minimum guaranteed
  10. rate.  Hard drives have had to band-aid themselves together in order to
  11. achieve this capability... the biggest one is non-thermal-recal
  12. garbage.  Removable media has never needed to thermally recalibrate
  13. because they use an embedded servo... thus, the drive does not step out
  14. to lunch to perform these internal housekeeping tasks.

  16. I think you might be surprised to find out that the Drive will be able
  17. to sustain AV standards even without claiming AV special band-aid
  18. capabilities....
